Unboxing [JP]: Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Taisen Sangokushi Engi - Standard Edition (PS3)

Surprise import addition. I was able to win this game from an auction and I basically paid just below the normal price you would find elsewhere. This is also the original release and not the Yeti Best edition.

Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Taisen Sangokushi Engi (真・恋姫†夢想 ~乙女対戦★三国志演義~) is a 2.5D fighting game based on the Koihime Musou eroge visual novel series that essentially re-imagines characters from the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms with female versions. Unlike the visual novel this game is all-ages.

Here are the list of characters included in the roster (in order of appearance from the manual). Note that I'm also adding the anime version's surnames since the visual novel version only used the first names.

-- Shoku (蜀) --
Kan'u Unchō (関羽)
Chōhi Yokutoku (張飛)
Chō'un Shiryū (趙雲)

-- Gi (魏) --
Sōsō Mōtoku (曹操)
Kakōton Genjō (夏侯惇)
Kakōen Myōsai (夏侯淵)

-- Go (呉) --
Sonken Chūbō (孫権)
Kannei Kōha (甘寧)
Sonshōkō (孫尚香)

-- Ryo (呂) -- (though technically under the Tō (董) clan, she's represented under her own)
Ryofu Hōsen (呂布)

In addition here are the assists:

-- Shoku (蜀) --
Shokatsuryō Kōmei (諸葛亮)
Hōtō Shigen (鳳統)

-- Gi (魏) --
Jun'iku Bunjaku (荀彧)
Tei'iku Chūtoku (程昱)

-- Go (呉) --
Shūyu Kōkin (周瑜)
Ryomō Shimei (呂蒙)

-- Tō (董) --
Chinkyū Kōdai (陳宮)

Format: PlayStation 3 (also available on PC)
Version: Japan
Exclusive: Yes (Console Exclusive to Sony)
Local Players: 2
Online Players: 6
Resolution: 480p/720p
HDD Space: 1050MB
Trophies: Yes

The game is entirely in Japanese but it will be easy to navigate once you play it a few times, gameplay wise this is an import friendly title (however the story itself requires knowledge of the language). As it's a fighting game the controls will also be easy to understand after a couple tries also.

There is local multiplayer for 2 players and online multiplayer up to 6 players. The game is also available on PC in Japan if people prefer to access it that way. If you don't have a PS3 and can't be fussed to play the PC version, a sequel instalment was released for the PlayStation 4 called Koihime Enbu though it's a tad pricey at this current time-frame.
