Dragon Ball Kai has finally concluded. Looks like Funimation wanted to get them out of the way for Super to come out, though no one knows when exactly that's going to happen despite the dub already getting released on Toonami in the states. Both Assassination Classroom Season 2 and The Seven Deadly Sins also conclude with the second half of the seasons getting released, oddly enough there's no special release for the former which comes to a surprise.

Samurai Warriors finally returns, this time with an English dub but still suffers a DVD only release. Oddly enough the OVA included did get a Blu-ray release with the PS4 release of Samurai Warriors 4.

The second Crunchyroll title turned out to be KanColle, short for Kantai Collection. This show was implied to have been with Crunchyroll after Jerome of Manga Animatsu blurted it out on social media. Interestingly enough it also comes with an English dub.

Those interested in Sunrise titles will be pleased to hear two titles from that catalogue get released in June; Code Geass: Akito the Exiled and Outlaw Star. Akito the Exiled was confirmed a while back but this time it's actually a complete collection with all five OVAs rather than split up like many had suspected. Outlaw Star took its time but it looks like it'll get an equal shared release in terms of content to the UK version.

Lastly we have a new One Piece season and this is also interesting because it starts the New World storyline, which is around Episode 517+. This show is also no longer on Toonami as well, which is kinda expected because of the low ratings and the pacing getting worse as the series slowly catches up to the source material.

That's basically it for Funimation's June line-up. Here is what's left in terms of backlog.
