Unboxing [US]: Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Team (PS3)

Another crossover fighting game arrives in my collection. Rather than covering various light novel characters or manga characters, this time it's all about eroge visual novel characters! Wait, what?

Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Team is a 2D crossover fighting game published by Atlus. The game features characters from various visual novels with eroge content, titles included in the mix are the likes of Tears to Tiara, To Heart, Utawaremono with assistant characters from Comic Party and White Album.

The gameplay is pretty unique in contrast to other fighting games. During each match, the game will change the gameplay at which your characters fight based on emotions; if the character ends up with defending or attacking all the time you'll be at an advantage or disadvantage which could affect the pace of the battle. The key is to keep attacking the opponent and use Splash Attacks (or as I call it the 'Ultimate Attack') to win the match.

This game was released in North America by Atlus and translated in English, however it was never released in Europe so to me this is considered an import. The game was priced very nicely nowadays ($18.99 on Amazon US) and the trophies are relatively easy.

The game was released back in August 2012 in Japan and November 2013 in North America, the game is still available at standard prices. I ordered the game from Amazon US which took a week to arrive.
