Next up on the unboxing is the next instalment after Bakemonogatari (and chronologically the last part of Monogatari series: First Season), Nisemonogatari. People, prepare your toothbrushes (yes I said it).
Nisemonogatari is the second series adapted from the Monogatari light novels and covers the remaining arcs left in the first season. Monogatari's first season consists of Kizumonogatari, Nekomonogatari Black, Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari which all except Kizu have been adapted by studio SHAFT who have done a brilliant job so far animating this franchise. Nisemonogatari's anime adaptation is known for being full of fanservice which might disappoint some who were hoping it would be like Bake but at least we have more Monogatari which does matter.
This release is from Aniplex of America which pretty much 75% of the fans in America really hate for one particular reason - the pricing. But I'm not really fussed about it, the quality of their releases are one of the best in the anime industry and they generally include awesome extras like OSTs and Japanese quality discs (hence why Nisemonogatari is fairly priced because it's using the exact same discs as the Japanese volumes, except they replaced the commentary with English subtitles for the episodes - disc spacing was most likely the main problem with Aniplex discs). The discs are Region Free since they're basically Japanese discs (in case you don't know, Blu-ray anime in Japan is region free though the DVDs are R2).

Nisemonogatari is available as an expensive Blu-ray Limited Edition set from Aniplex of America. A much cheaper version is available from MVM Entertainment and Hanabee in UK and Australia on Blu-ray and DVD.
