Unboxing [US]: Fairy Tail - Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 (BD/DVD)

Rather than splitting them up, I have decided to show off the first five parts of Fairy Tail. So here's the first Season and the first quarter of Season 2 to show you all.

Fairy Tail is a popular shounen series about a group of wizards in a guild (called Fairy Tail) and their adventures together throughout their magical kingdom. While I have the Phoenix Priestess movie, I have never seen the main series so it's quite an honour to own it. Here I have the first five parts which consist of 12 episodes each therefore I can watch up to episode 60. Season 1 (Parts 1-4) contain episodes 1 to 48 and Season 2 (Part 5) contain episodes 49-60.

The Funimation release contains the English and Japanese audio with optional English subtitles (not locked) for the Japanese version. The version I picked up are the individual parts which was the first form of release for Fairy Tail before the Collection sets were introduced. Unfortunately Part 1 didn't have a slip-cover because it's quite an old release to match with my Season 1 set.

Like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Fairy Tail was created between 480p and 720p so therefore the Blu-ray versions are Standard Definition Remasters but I think at some point later in the series the show turns into true HD material.

Part 5 will be used for the screenshots.
